This is a practice out of A Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook, Foreword by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and co-authored by Bob Stahl Ph.D. and Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D. (New Harbinger, 2010). This short mindfulness practice is meant to be sprinkled throughout the day to support you in becoming more present, reducing stress, and being more effective in every day life.

Hi, This 3 minutes were the most relaxing of my day. It helped me to focus and become aware.
Many thanks Mary (Ireland)
Fantastic Mary, keep it up and stay connected!
Thanks for posting this video. Mindfulness is a great way to relieve stress. It’s being used more and more in psychotherapy practice as a way to bring about awareness and help the healing process. What a great, short practice for people to integrate into their daily lives.
Thank you for blogging. I appreciate your efforts.
As a counsellor and practitioner of Mindfulness based meditation both personally and professionally, I think this is an excellent video. A simple but not easy technique on the one hand, on the other it can be challenging to explain cognitive diffusion to clients. This is the problem with language, don’t you think. Words have different meanings for different people and are inadequate to capture an experience like mindfulness. Mindfulness therapy will in my view continue expanding into Western psychological treatment clinics in the coming years. Thanks for posting. Adam
I have never read so much tosh…do you guys make a living at this?
Thanks, the more ways we can relieve stress in our lives, the better!
Practicing meditation is the best exercise to get a more balanced life. I know it saved me and kept me sane no matter what happened.
